About the position
Vanguard Resources, Inc. is actively recruiting for a Full-time, Hourly/Non-Exempt, experienced Biomed/Clinical Engineering Technician (level I or II) at Nacogdoches Medical Center. This position involves working with a dedicated team in a healthcare environment, providing essential maintenance and support for biomedical equipment. The technician will be responsible for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. The role requires on-call availability and may involve occasional weekend work depending on workload demands.
Responsibilities
- Provide and document preventive, predictive, metered, interval-based, and corrective maintenance on biomedical equipment.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections, maintenance, and electrical safety tests of biomedical equipment.
- Document the results of all inspections, maintenance, and tests.
- Complete other duties and projects as assigned by Leadership.
Requirements
- Minimum 1+ years of applicable hands-on experience in a healthcare environment.
- Must have a minimum of a 2-year associate's degree from a technical school.
- Healthcare/Hospital experience is required.
- Recent experience in a healthcare BioMed/Clinical Engineering environment is required.
- Clean driving record validated via MV search.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with biomedical equipment maintenance in a hospital setting.
- Certifications in biomedical engineering or related fields.
