Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify performance of biomedical equipment and systems.
• Perform performance assurance inspections, scheduled maintenance, and electrical safety inspections on biomedical equipment.
• Inform supervisors about repair statuses, scheduled inspections, and customer concerns.
• Direct and document activities of subcontractors and vendors for service delivery.
• Maintain expertise through ongoing training and education.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of the equipment database, including inventory and service history.
• Build and maintain customer relationships and discuss equipment functionality with clinicians.
• Adhere to the organization's Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Perform periodic inspections of inventory and maintain accurate records of medical devices.
• Create and manage digital databases for data verification and reporting.

Requirements

• Five years of experience with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment or equivalent experience.
• Associates degree in a related field or equivalent military training and three years of experience.
• Valid state driver's license and driving record in accordance with AdventHealth policy.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in technology.
• Working knowledge of the theory, operation, and repair of medical instrumentation and electronic systems.
