About the position

The position involves conducting on-site clinical evaluations and providing consulting services to enhance the usage of Digital OR products in hospitals. The role requires collaboration with medical professionals to ensure efficient product usage, training staff, and maintaining customer satisfaction while also contributing to sales efforts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site clinical evaluations for new and existing customers to demonstrate the use of products and services.
• Provide on-site consulting, guidance, and assistance to physicians and OR personnel during surgery.
• Lead installations and establish functionality at customer sites.
• Educate and train physicians and hospital personnel on Digital OR products and services.
• Utilize engineering expertise to recommend product modifications for quality improvement.
• Act as the primary customer liaison, maintaining regular contact and assessing satisfaction levels.
• Work with the Account Manager to evaluate customer situations and identify sales leads.
• Resolve product issues through detailed analysis and engineering expertise.
• Stay updated on new developments regarding Brainlab and competitive products.
• Attend Digital OR Continuing Education and maintain product certification competency.
• Promote Digital OR products and services at trade shows.
• Maximize customer satisfaction and report/document complaints.

Requirements

• B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Clinical Engineering, Nursing or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years minimum of experience in a technical support role for a healthcare company or provider preferred.
• Knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy, and medical terminology preferred.
• Proficient in the use of PC software applications including Microsoft Office.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a proven history of making independent decisions.
