About the position
The position involves conducting on-site clinical evaluations and providing consulting services to enhance the use of Image Guided Surgery (IGS) products in hospitals. The role requires educating and training medical personnel, leading installations, and acting as a primary liaison with customers to ensure satisfaction and maximize product usage. The candidate will also be involved in strategizing with account managers to identify sales opportunities and resolve product issues.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site clinical evaluations for new and existing customers to demonstrate the use of products and services.
- Provide on-site consulting, guidance, and assistance to physicians and operating room personnel during surgery.
- Lead installations and establish functionality at customer sites.
- Educate and train physicians and hospital personnel on the use of surgery products and services.
- Utilize engineering expertise to recommend product modifications for quality improvement.
- Act as the primary customer liaison, maintaining regular contact and assessing satisfaction levels.
- Work to increase revenue through the sale of service contracts, spare parts, and upgrades.
- Regularly strategize with the Account Manager to evaluate customer opportunities.
- Resolve product issues through detailed analysis and engineering expertise.
- Promote surgery products and services to surgeons at trade shows.
Requirements
- B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Clinical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Nursing.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a technical support role for a healthcare company or provider.
