About the position
The Biomedical Engineer II is responsible for conducting laboratory procedures, testing, and research while assisting with data collection and analysis. This role ensures compliance with regulations and guidelines to achieve accurate results, and it requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, necessitating U.S. Citizenship. The position is fully onsite in Fort Novosel, AL, and is part of a company that supports the economic development of the Chickasaw Nation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory procedures, testing, and research activities in biomedical engineering.
- Assist in developing testing procedures and data collection necessary for project goals.
- Acquire, analyze, and evaluate data gathered during research.
- Follow instructions and guidelines to perform job functions, including relevant standard operating procedures and national standards.
- Record all laboratory procedures, research project data, and results in compliance with applicable regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in biomedical engineering.
