About the position

The Biomedical Engineer III is responsible for conducting laboratory procedures, testing, and research in the field of biomedical engineering. This role involves assisting with data collection and analysis while ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines. The position requires a Secret clearance and is based 100% onsite in Ft. Rucker, Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory procedures, testing, and research activities in biomedical engineering.
• Participate in research work plan and proposal development.
• Recommend appropriate instrumentation, test equipment configuration, testing procedures, and data collection techniques.
• Acquire, analyze, and evaluate data gathered during research.
• Develop and update guidelines and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure team members follow laboratory safety and biosafety requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of five to seven (5-7) years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, requiring U.S. Citizenship.
