About the position

The successful candidate will play a vital role in the development of MedTech devices at Yaya Scientific, LLC. This position involves hardware identification and acquisition, software integration, prototype development, and participation in clinical studies. The role is essential for enhancing the quality of life through innovative biomedical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Imaging system implementation/integration and image data analysis software development using Python programming.
• SOLIDWORKS based design and implementation of necessary 3D printed hardware for prototype system integration and implementation.
• Prototype system testing, characterization, and operational implementation performance evaluation.
• Generation of user instructions and system operational manuals.
• Biomedical tissue imaging studies using phantoms and excised tissues.
• Participation in running prototype systems during clinical studies of subjects undergoing various surgical procedures.

Requirements

• BS in Biomedical Engineering/Bioengineering, and/or in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering/Computer Science with biomedical research experience.
• Ability to lift at least 30 pounds for equipment installation.
• Fluency in English for effective communication with team members.
