About the position

The Biosimilar Account Manager is responsible for promoting products and achieving assigned goals within a designated geographic territory, adhering to legal and regulatory guidelines. This role focuses on educational and promotional efforts to identify and develop new customers and accounts, while increasing therapy and product adoption among appropriate patients. The position involves presenting product information to healthcare professionals and participating in industry events to enhance product visibility and adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively sell a portfolio of products and exceed territory goals for all promoted products.
  • Navigate and sell in complex accounts across community Oncology practices with multiple decision makers.
  • Develop strong relationships with healthcare professionals by understanding their needs and prescribing habits.
  • Utilize sales data to prioritize activities and achieve territory objectives.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Maintain and sell to existing customers and accounts, including accessing difficult-to-see customers regularly.
  • Support the development of Key Opinion Leaders from targeted accounts.
  • Participate in regional and national sales meetings.
  • Submit accurate and timely expense reports and maintain thorough account records.
  • Identify and attend industry events, sharing insights with sales management and peers.
  • Maintain a high degree of competence in product knowledge and industry knowledge related to Amneal's products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college or university.
  • 3 years or more in Specialty Sales experience, preferably in Oncology/Oncology Supportive Care Sales.
  • Experience in Buy and Bill sales.
