About the position

The Biosimilar Account Executive is responsible for promoting Amneal Pharmaceuticals' products and achieving sales goals within a designated geographic territory. This role involves educational and promotional efforts to identify and develop new customers, enhance product adoption, and build strong relationships with healthcare professionals. The position requires navigating complex accounts and environments, particularly in community oncology practices, while maintaining compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Effectively sell a portfolio of products and exceed territory goals.
• Navigate and sell in complex accounts across community oncology practices.
• Develop strong relationships with healthcare professionals by understanding their needs and prescribing habits.
• Utilize sales data to prioritize activities and achieve territory objectives.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Maintain and sell to existing customers and accounts, including accessing difficult-to-see customers.
• Support the development of Key Opinion Leaders from targeted accounts.
• Participate in regional and national sales meetings.
• Submit accurate and timely expense reports and call reporting.
• Identify and attend industry events, sharing learnings with sales management and peers.
• Maintain a high degree of competence in product and disease state knowledge.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college or university.
• 3 years or more in Specialty Sales experience, particularly in Oncology/Oncology Supportive Care Sales.
• Demonstrated ability to sell in a competitive marketplace.
• Strong clinical sales acumen and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Buy and Bill sales.
• Community Oncology Sales experience.
• Product focus on biologics, expensive therapies, injectables.
