About the position

The Biostatistic Analyst position at the University of Minnesota is a part-time role focused on conducting biostatistical analysis for ongoing and completed research projects within the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. The analyst will collaborate closely with the research team to ensure accurate data reporting and contribute to securing future grant funding through preliminary data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct biostatistical analysis for new and ongoing research projects.
  • Collaborate with Primary Investigators and Research Professionals.
  • Analyze data for manuscripts based on completed research projects.
  • Ensure deliverables of the current grant are met.
  • Provide analyses for preliminary data to secure future grant funding.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with related experience in biostatistical analysis.
  • Proven record of accurate data reporting.
  • Ability to work two to five hours per week.

Nice-to-haves

  • 10+ years of experience collaborating with rehabilitation research projects.
  • Experience with Spinal Cord Injury Model Systems (SCIMS)-funded grant work.
