About the position

The Biostatistician II position at Mount Sinai is a critical role within the research lab of Dr. Rafael de la Hoz, focusing on providing comprehensive statistical support for clinical projects. The primary responsibilities include designing studies, developing protocols, and determining sample sizes to ensure robust and scientifically valid research outcomes. The Biostatistician will prepare detailed statistical analysis plans and generate statistical summary tables, integrating databases for more thorough analyses. This role requires a strong understanding of both statistical methodologies and medical concepts to propose and conduct additional analyses as needed. In this position, the Biostatistician will document all analyses performed, create summaries, and present results both in written and verbal formats to various stakeholders.
