This position is crucial for developing and collaborating with investigators on studies that focus on emerging surgical technologies and the evaluation of surgical techniques, devices, and their subsequent outcomes. The biostatistician will play a key role in managing, analyzing, and reporting various types of data, including epidemiological, clinical, laboratory, and electronic health records data. In this role, the successful candidate will work closely with faculty, fellows, and residents, providing essential assistance on grant proposals, academic papers, and presentations. Furthermore, the biostatistician will manage data requests from external sources and collaborators, investigate novel statistical methods when appropriate, and maintain the confidentiality of participant data in accordance with Institutional Review Board and federal policies.
