About the position
The Biotech Research Scientist position is designed for individuals passionate about leveraging science to drive breakthroughs in biotechnology, impacting medicine, agriculture, and environmental sustainability. Responsibilities
- Lead Biotechnology Research Projects by designing and executing experiments focused on biotechnology applications.
- Collaborate on Multidisciplinary Research with molecular biologists, chemists, bioinformaticians, and engineers.
- Develop Novel Biotechnological Solutions using tools like CRISPR and synthetic biology.
- Analyze Experimental Data and Publish Findings in peer-reviewed journals and scientific conferences.
- Innovate in Drug Discovery and Biomanufacturing to improve efficiency and meet clinical standards.
- Stay at the Forefront of Scientific Advancements by experimenting with new techniques and technologies.
- Ensure Compliance and Ethical Research Standards in all experiments.
Requirements
- Strong experience in biotechnology research, including molecular biology, genetic engineering, cell culture, or synthetic biology.
- Expertise in gene-editing techniques such as CRISPR, TALENs, or zinc finger nucleases.
- Proficiency in bioinformatics tools and statistical analysis for processing experimental data.
- Knowledge of drug discovery processes and biomanufacturing, particularly in biologics and gene therapies.
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to communicate findings clearly.
Nice-to-haves
- Postdoctoral experience in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Additional certifications or training in bioinformatics, synthetic biology, or biomanufacturing.
