About the position

The Black Friday Associate at Pacsun is responsible for generating sales by providing an engaging and positive customer experience. This part-time role involves executing assigned tasks from the leadership team, maintaining visual standards, and supporting store operations during peak shopping periods, particularly around Black Friday. The associate is expected to reflect the Pacsun brand through a passion for fashion and trends while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an engaging, positive, and authentic customer experience with all customers.
• Focus on full-price selling while maintaining awareness of product value and promotions.
• Handle customer situations in compliance with policy and procedures, attempting to 'solve for yes'.
• Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Execute all visual directives and maintain visual standards set by the company.
• Support high standards of organization and cleanliness in the store.
• Uphold and comply with all company policies as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual.
• Comply with all Loss Prevention policies and communicate violations to the leadership team.
• Share feedback from customers with the leadership team to improve the overall customer experience.
• Actively participate in all company and store contests and events.
• Stay current on all financial goals and priorities.
• Support the leadership team in achieving all sales and operational goals.
• Support and execute all digital sales strategies including ship from store and BOPIS.

Requirements

• Passion for product, brands, fashion, and trends.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Proficient in math and possesses strong computer skills.
