About the position

The Lubricant Sales Specialist, also referred to as a Blended Oil Specialist, is responsible for expanding business within designated territories, specifically northern Chicago to the greater Milwaukee area. This role emphasizes the growth of the lubricant line of business among existing customers and involves regular travel to meet clients and achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Build business within assigned territories and grow the lubricant line of business.
  • Meet monthly growth targets and quotas.
  • Prospect new customers and conduct daily in-person visits.
  • Attend branch and service staff meetings.
  • Follow up with existing customers via in-person visits, phone calls, and emails.
  • Prepare sales plans and forecasts, monitoring progress to ensure sales quotas are met or exceeded.
  • Develop and propose customer solutions utilizing the company's product and service offerings.
  • Manage customer-specific requests, including job scope, margins, and profitability.
  • Utilize CRM for activity management and growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of business-to-business sales experience.
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM software tools.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
