About the position

The Blender position at Schreiber Foods involves safely and efficiently producing quality blends by staging and blending ingredients according to specifications. The role is critical in ensuring that production lines meet standards and blend on time, contributing to the overall manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Verify label information and load ingredients into the blender in the specified order.
• Maintain and clean equipment, parts, tools, utensils, and work area to meet good housekeeping and 5S standards.
• Ensure appropriate separation of materials and equipment by food allergens.
• Meet production needs and goals while minimizing product shrink and downtime.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting of blending equipment and processes, contacting Maintenance as needed.
• Complete all required paperwork and transactions in a timely manner, including batch entry logs and cleaning forms.
• Identify Critical Control Points (CCP).
• Participate in shift exchanges and work team meetings.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to be forklift and pallet jack certified.
• Ability to be Lockout Tagout (LOTO) certified.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• Basic computer operational skills.
