The Blender position at Hearthside Food Solutions is a full-time role based in Lakeville, MN, where the primary responsibility is to ensure that products are accurately weighed, blended, and labeled according to customer specifications. This position does not have supervisory authority, but it plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process. The Blender will be expected to comprehend blend sheets and precisely weigh products according to batch specifications. Routine cleaning of blending equipment and containers is also a key responsibility, ensuring that all equipment is maintained in a hygienic state. In addition to these tasks, the Blender will transport bulk products using a pallet jack and perform visual quality checks to ensure that the bulk products are not defective or damaged. Data entry into the inventory control system is required, along with reading and recording product codes. The Blender will also create proper product tags using the inventory control system and report any issues to the Support Lead. Maintaining a clean and organized work area is essential, as is the willingness to work as a team member to ensure maximum process efficiency. Attention to detail is critical, and the Blender must maintain a positive and productive relationship with co-workers and others in the workplace. The role may also require overtime work when necessary, and the Blender will perform all other duties as deemed necessary by the Support Lead.
