About the position

The Blender Operator position at QPS Employment Group involves blending and packaging processes in a manufacturing environment. The role requires adherence to safety and operational standards while performing various tasks related to the preparation and sanitation of production areas.

Responsibilities

• Blending and packaging materials
• Loading and unloading freeze dryers
• Weighing ingredients, bulks, and excipients
• Cleaning rooms and equipment for production
• Assembling and disassembling the mill
• Operating the metal detector
• Performing master sanitation tasks
• Filling out room logs accurately
• Making corrections on documentation adhering to GDP
• Following operating discipline policies and procedures
• Monitoring and using HMI for basic processes
• Identifying improvements and opportunities for process enhancement
• Performing sanitation duties as per established procedures
• Complying with plant safety rules and maintaining a clean work area
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED or 1-3 months of related experience
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) preferred
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Effective communication skills before groups
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
• Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions
• Problem-solving skills in standardized situations
• Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, and use hands as required
• Ability to lift and push/pull up to 50 pounds
