About the position

The Program Director at BLOC Ministries is responsible for overseeing all direct services to Redeemed Homestead, ensuring compliance with regulations and professional standards. This role focuses on the development and geographic expansion of direct-service programming, leading a dedicated team in initiatives such as Female Minor Safe Housing and Outreach. The Program Director collaborates with Executive Leadership to align program strategies with BLOC's mission, while also managing budgets and enhancing programming to address community needs.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all direct services to Redeemed Homestead.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and professional standards.
  • Lead the development and geographic expansion of direct-service programming.
  • Manage a dedicated team focused on Female Minor Safe Housing, Outreach, and Mentoring.
  • Collaborate with Executive Leadership to set program strategies.
  • Motivate and empower the team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Accountability for program leadership and budget stewardship.
  • Evaluate and enhance programming to address service gaps.
  • Foster relationships with community partners.
  • Conduct meetings and handle staff disputes.
  • Ensure licensing compliance and be on-call for emergencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within a nonprofit or social services organization, preferably with direct-service programming.
  • Proven experience managing teams and overseeing community-based programs, including Safe Housing and Outreach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, compliance, and grant management.
  • Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to provide constructive feedback and handle conflicts.
  • Proven ability to build and nurture relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

Benefits

  • Full-time position with a salary of $58,700 per year.
