About the position

At Conduit, we're building the rollupnative cloud platform that will scale Etum. Crypto builders have been held back by a lack of onchain compute — without the ability to process a high volume of transactions quickly and cheaply, onchain apps and ecosystems can't build high quality user experiences. Rollups have emerged as the answer to this problem. Just as servers work together to scale compute in web, so too can rollups scale onchain compute in web. But building and operating your own rollup is difficult and timeconsuming. That's where Conduit comes in. As the rollupnative cloud platform, Conduit combines web engineering best practices with web rollup technology to make it easy for anyone to launch and maintain their own chain. By making infrastructure simple and onchain compute abundant, similar to how AWS and GCP did for web, we can unlock the next wave of innovation in the crypto ecosystem. The Conduit platform has seen massive growth since going live. We run the largest chains in production, including Proof of Play, Zora, Aevo, and more. This translates to + chains across mainnet and testnet and over $B in total value locked (TVL). Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and evolve the EVM Node solutions powering the Conduit Platform
• Deliver scalable and robust software solutions in a devops environment
• Create and improve tooling and process to improve maintainability and reliability
• Participate in oncall rotation

Requirements

• Deep understanding of the EVM and surrounding Node
• Experience working with etum internals (i.e. EVM, debuggers, block explorers, tracers, etc.)
• Understanding of tooling patterns and practices for developers on EVM networks
• Experience designing, implementing, and running production services
• Experience debugging complex issues across the stack, such as networking issues, performance problems, or memory leaks
• Collaborate effectively with other engineers to solve complex technical problems (mentoring, peer reviews, design reviews, etc.)
