About the position

The Brand Ambassador at Blue Mountain Resort is a part-time role focused on providing exceptional guest experiences. This position serves as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. The ambassador will engage with guests, provide assistance, and represent the resort at various promotional events, all while fostering a positive and energetic atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting and interacting with guests in and around facilities as well as on the mountain.
  • Providing guests with direction and assistance.
  • Demonstrating extensive resort knowledge to answer guest inquiries.
  • Engaging in crowd entertainment on high volume days.
  • Collecting emails for guest research purposes.
  • Distributing promotional swag to guests.
  • Representing Blue Mountain at on and offsite promotional activities and events.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a willingness to initiate guest contact in a friendly manner.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team.
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
  • Timely and reliable attendance, even in inclement weather.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends.
  • Knowledge and passion for skiing and snowboarding, marketing, and guest relations.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
