About the position

The Bluffton Caregiver position involves providing compassionate, non-medical in-home care services to individuals in need, including seniors and those with disabilities. Caregivers will assist with daily living activities, meal preparation, and companionship, ensuring a supportive and safe environment for clients.

Responsibilities

• Providing caring and dependable companionship
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Preparing meals and snacks
• Assisting with activities of daily living and personal hygiene (like dressing, eating, bathing, and toileting)
• Transportation to and from client's appointments and activities
• Carrying out a Care Plan and tasks specific to your client
• Creating compassionate and supportive solutions to your client's unique needs by collaborating with your Home Helpers team and client's family

Requirements

• Must have a passion for caring for those in need
• Caregiving, Housekeeping, and Cooking experience required
• Driver's license, reliable transportation, clean driving record, and current auto insurance required
• At least 18 years of age
• Have compassion for our clients, including seniors and/or those with disabilities
• Must be a good communicator
• Must be able to follow and complete a list of tasks within a given time period
• Must be punctual and dependable
• Must be self-motivated and have a professional, pleasant, positive, and helpful disposition
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
• Have a smart phone and email account
• Pass a drug screen and background check
• Willing to take a TB test

• Hoyer Lift Trained (not required, but preferred)
