About the position
The BMO Capital Markets Sophomore 2025 Elevate Internship Program is a 10-week internship designed for second-year undergraduate students interested in a career in Capital Markets. Participants will engage in three rotations across Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, and Global Markets, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to various financial products and services. The program includes mentorship, training, and networking opportunities, with the potential for a return internship offer for successful candidates.
Responsibilities
- Running valuation analyses in Investment Banking
- Performing complex financial modeling
- Conducting industry and company research and analysis
- Developing client presentations
- Writing internal and external marketing memoranda
- Processing client requests in Corporate Banking
- Completing annual/interim credit reviews
- Monitoring performance of portfolio companies
- Preparing presentation materials and relationship profitability assessments
- Performing various analytical and administrative projects in Global Markets
- Developing presentation materials using PowerPoint and Excel
- Market data capture and display
- Recapping and organizing market data and events
- Shadowing and learning from Trading, Sales, and Strategy professionals
- Conducting market research and programming
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a second-year student at an accredited U.S. College/University
- Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
- Available to work full-time from June - August 2025
- U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or legally authorized to work in the U.S.
