Responsibilities
- Examine and provide remedial services for adults requiring behavioral interventions.
- Improve clients' ability to perform daily activities through effective behavioral strategies.
- Interact with individuals who are non-verbal or have limited verbal communication skills.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of professional ethics and standards of practice.
- Utilize computer skills for data management and reporting.
Requirements
- Certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
- Licensed (or eligible to be) a Behavior Analyst (LBA) in Michigan.
- One year of full-time experience working with adults and children with developmental disabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated time management skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Completed 8 hours of BACB initial supervision training.
- Lived experiences with mental illness, developmental disabilities, or substance use disorders.
