About the position

Behavioral Progression is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a part-time position in the Polk County area. This role offers flexibility in scheduling and location, allowing candidates to design their own caseload and work hours. The BCBA will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing individualized behavior support plans, and supervising ABA therapy services for individuals with developmental and behavioral needs. There is potential for growth in hours as the caseload expands.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify client needs and develop individualized behavior plans.
  • Oversee and guide the implementation of treatment plans, ensuring clients and caregivers receive clear and consistent instruction.
  • Provide supervision and training to BCaBAs, ABA therapists, and caregivers to ensure accurate execution of behavior plans in various settings.
  • Track client progress through detailed data collection and analysis, making adjustments to intervention plans as necessary.
  • Work closely with families and caregivers to provide feedback, training, and support for long-term success.
  • Manage caseloads effectively, maintaining documentation and coordinating with other professionals to ensure quality care.

Requirements

  • Must hold active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB).
  • Strong experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), focusing on developing and implementing behavior plans for individuals with developmental and behavioral needs.
  • Master's degree in ABA or a related field with completed coursework and supervised experience hours.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Must pass a background check as required for the role.
