About the position
We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide behavioral therapy and support to individuals with autism and related disorders. This role is crucial in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective care. The BCBA will also provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and caregivers, making a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals with autism while advancing their career in behavioral analysis.
Responsibilities
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement behavior intervention strategies to address challenging behaviors
- Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and caregivers
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Requirements
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders
- Proficiency in conducting diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and colleagues
- Familiarity with medical records, special education practices, and behavioral health standards
