About the position

We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join a school district in DeKalb, IL. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities for professionals passionate about applying evidence-based interventions to support students' behavioral and educational success. You will work closely with students, staff, and families to develop and implement effective behavior intervention plans that foster positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and create individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students.
• Provide training and support to teachers, paraprofessionals, and parents on implementing behavior strategies.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of behavior plans, making adjustments as needed to ensure student progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support a comprehensive approach to student success.
• Maintain accurate data and documentation of student progress and interventions.

Requirements

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
• Experience working in an educational or school setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and families.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
