About the position

Magical Moments ABA, a fast-growing, client and therapist-focused company, is seeking a strong Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. As a BCBA, you will be certified and licensed to supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Trainees. This position offers a fun and relaxed working environment where you will enjoy coming to work every day. You will have the opportunity to make a significant difference in a private practice, working closely with the owner and other therapists to help develop a transdisciplinary team. In this role, you will have the freedom to develop treatment plans using your professional judgment, without the constraints of a set curriculum or program requirements. Your responsibilities will include assessing, developing, and maintaining Individual Behavior Treatment Plans. You will also be responsible for completing paperwork for the Office of Developmental Education (ODE) and insurance companies, as well as other duties within the scope of practice of a BCBA, following the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Guidelines and Code of Ethics. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in administering verbal behavior assessments, conducting language, play, and skill-based assessments (such as the Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills - ABLLS), and implementing or training others using individualized language, play, and skill-based curricula. You will provide assistance to children with special needs and their families to help them reach individual and family goals.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Trainees.
  • Develop and maintain Individual Behavior Treatment Plans.
  • Complete paperwork for ODE and insurance companies.
  • Administer verbal behavior assessments and conduct language, play, and skill-based assessments.
  • Implement and train others using individualized language, play, and skill-based curricula.
  • Assist children with special needs and their families to achieve individual and family goals.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Behavior Analysis.
  • Certification under the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB) as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
  • Experience providing services to individuals with Autism.
  • Clear background check.

Nice-to-haves

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized behavior analyst.
  • Self-starter who can work semi-independently as the clinical supervisor for the ABA department.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
