About the position

Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center is seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join their team. The role involves overseeing quality interventions for individuals with developmental disabilities and delays, ensuring they achieve their highest quality of life. The BCBA will work in a collaborative and supportive environment, focusing on clinical supervision, training, and maintaining communication with team members.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise mid-level Supervisors and Behavior Interventionists.
  • Conduct and oversee functional behavior assessments (FBAs).
  • Provide clinical supervision of ABA treatment programs, including treatment design and modification.
  • Provide training, consultation, and support for direct interventionist staff.
  • Complete or support the completion of progress reports.
  • Conduct caregiver education and training.
  • Attend monthly clinical team and professional development meetings.
  • Timely submission of billing requirements, clinical notes, reports, and other materials.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks and address clinical concerns as needed.
  • Maintain consistent and reliable communication with all team members.

Requirements

  • Active BCBA certification, in good standing (or pursuing BCBA certification).
  • Master's degree in psychology or a related field (e.g., Child Development, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis).
  • Previous clinical experience within the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  • Previous experience working with software platforms for data collection, program development, and report writing.
  • Ability to pass a background check and TB clearance.
  • Reliable vehicle with proof of insurance.
  • Excellent written, oral, and intrapersonal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish (highly preferred).
  • 1 year of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (preferred).
  • 1 year of supervising experience (preferred).
