About the position

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position at Haim ABA involves conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for clients with developmental disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum. The role requires implementing evidence-based interventions, providing direct therapy services, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care. Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for individuals with developmental disabilities, specifically autism spectrum disorder.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
  • Provide direct behavioral therapy services to clients, including behavior reduction and skill acquisition programs.
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care for clients.
  • Provide training and support to caregivers and other team members.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Requirements

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism spectrum disorder.
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
  • Familiarity with behavioral health practices and terminology.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with clients, families, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
