About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and special education, focusing on providing high-quality patient care to individuals with autism and other developmental disorders. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing behavior intervention strategies to improve the quality of life for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral issues and needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client goals.
• Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques to support clients in achieving their objectives.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
• Provide training and support to staff members on behavior management strategies.
• Advocate for clients' needs within the healthcare system and community resources.

Requirements

• A minimum of two years of experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disorders, is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of special education practices and behavioral therapy methodologies.
• Familiarity with medical records management and documentation standards.
• Experience in patient assessment techniques and developing effective intervention strategies.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and colleagues.
