About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting diagnostic evaluations, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with families and other professionals to improve the quality of life for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs and behaviors.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
  • Provide training and support to families and caregivers to ensure effective implementation of treatment strategies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including special education professionals, medical personnel, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Conduct patient assessments to track progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Stay current with research and best practices in the field of behavior analysis and developmental disabilities.

Requirements

  • Proficient in applied behavior analysis techniques and methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology related to behavioral health.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
  • Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Knowledge of special education practices and regulations.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance requirements regarding patient confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
