About the position

We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team at Polestar ABA Therapy. This part-time, contract position focuses on providing evidence-based interventions and compassionate care to individuals with autism. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and observational skills, along with experience in applied behavior analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments
  • Develop behavior intervention plans
  • Implement behavior analytic programs
  • Provide training to caregivers and other professionals
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor progress
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care

Requirements

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
  • Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder
  • Proficiency in applied behavior analysis techniques
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with individuals and families
  • Ability to analyze diagnostic information effectively

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in data collection and analysis
  • Familiarity with medical records management
  • Previous exposure to pediatric patient care
