About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized behavior intervention plans for clients, particularly those on the autism spectrum. You will work collaboratively with families, educators, and other professionals to promote positive behavioral changes and enhance the quality of life for individuals with behavioral health challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral issues and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to address specific behavioral goals.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
  • Provide training and support to families and caregivers on behavior management techniques.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on data analysis.
  • Stay updated on best practices in behavioral therapy and relevant medical terminology.

Requirements

  • Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
  • Strong knowledge of medical documentation practices and experience with medical records management.
  • Familiarity with behavioral health principles, particularly in working with individuals with autism.
  • Proficiency in Applied Behavior Analysis techniques and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
  • Understanding of diagnostic evaluation processes related to behavioral health issues.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA standards.
