About the position

The Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) at Redwood Family Care Network is responsible for providing ongoing consultation and support using principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining Behavior Support Plans, conducting Functional Behavior Assessments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the quality of care and support provided to clients. The BCBA will also train and support direct service professionals and other stakeholders in the implementation of behavior plans, ensuring a person-centered approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing consultation using principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Design, implement, write, and maintain Behavior Support Plans as needed.
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments as needed.
  • Regularly review and maintain data collection towards behavior plan goals.
  • Conduct ongoing training and provide support for direct service professionals, home administrators, program managers, and other professionals.
  • Attend multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate with other professionals in the development and maintenance of behavior support plans.

Requirements

  • BCBA Certification is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience designing and implementing behavior support plans.
  • Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities.
  • Knowledge of Regional Center Developmental Centers and ICF/DD, developmental disabilities, and mental health diagnoses.

Nice-to-haves

  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification preferred or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months of hire.
