About the position
VCA Alpine Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated individual who loves animals and is eager to join our boarding staff team. The ideal candidate will prioritize the welfare of our pets and demonstrate dependability and flexibility in their work hours. Responsibilities include providing baths, exercise, food and water, administering medications, and ensuring playtime for the animals. Additionally, the role involves cleaning kennels and general areas, stocking supplies, answering phones, performing computer work, and assisting throughout the hospital as needed. Weekend availability is required, with specific hours on Saturday and Sunday.
Responsibilities
- Provide baths for the animals
- Exercise the animals
- Ensure food and water is provided
- Administer medications as needed
- Facilitate playtime for the animals
