About the position
Bretz RV is seeking skilled and certified marine technicians to join our team at three of our northwest locations in Butte, Missoula, and Spokane. As a boat technician, you will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of tasks that include boat engine repairs and maintenance, customizations, and winterization. This position is ideal for those who enjoy hands-on work and are passionate about marine technology. You will be responsible for diagnosing issues using software tools, performing rigging and new engine installations, and installing various equipment such as trolling motors and fish finders. Additionally, you will prepare boats for showings, long hauls, and winter storage, ensuring they are in top condition for our customers. The role also includes shop maintenance and cleaning, along with other duties as assigned. Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain boats daily.
- Use software tools for diagnostics and testing on boats.
- Perform rigging and new engine installations.
- Install additional equipment such as trolling motors and fish finders.
- Prepare boats for showings, long hauls, and winter storage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shop.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
