About the position

Atlas Bobcat is seeking full-time Field Technicians to provide exceptional service for heavy-duty, compact equipment in the Chicagoland area. The role involves identifying, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on equipment, while maintaining a high level of customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Identifying, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on equipment using Bobcat technical software.
• Performing preventative maintenance per manufacturer specifications.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all products Atlas Bobcat sells and services.
• Keeping the Service Manager informed of all problems and potential problems involving service repairs.
• Maintaining inventory of necessary and customary technician tools in good working order.
• Completing all service repair assignments in a reasonable time.
• Maintaining your service truck and following all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Providing exceptional customer service skills while working and communicating with customers.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and experience (experience with hydraulics, electrical or drive systems is preferred but not mandatory).
• 2+ years of experience with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment in industrial or automotive industries.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A willingness to learn and be trained.
• The ability to manage time and attendance.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to work in all weather conditions, and overtime as needed.
