About the position

The Body Shop Collision Technician at Sullivan Automotive Group is responsible for performing collision and frame repairs on vehicles. This role requires a high level of expertise in various repair techniques and the ability to work on both full frame and unitized bodies. The technician will be part of a dealership collision shop that has direct repair contracts, ensuring a steady flow of work and the opportunity to contribute to a skilled team.

Responsibilities

• Perform collision and frame repairs on vehicles.
• Measure and straighten frames of full frame and unitized bodies.
• Replace panels and perform dent repairs.
• Conduct welding and repair of metal and plastics.
• Finish body repairs with plastic, including priming and blocking for primer.

Requirements

• I-CAR Certification
• 5 years of experience in collision and frame repair
• Proficiency in welding and repair of metal and plastics
• Experience in dent repair and panel replacement

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with bonding door skins
• Knowledge of quarter panel replacements
• Ability to perform frame repair and replacement
