About the position

As a Production Manager at Dick Hannah Dealerships, you will play a crucial role in the vehicle repair process by ensuring that all vehicles have a comprehensive and accurate repair plan prepared by the Blue Printing Staff before they enter full production. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough assessments of vehicle damage to create detailed repair plans, identifying all necessary parts and additional labor requirements, and maintaining clear and consistent communication to prevent production delays and minimize the need for multiple supplements. Your attention to detail and ability to coordinate effectively with various teams will be key in delivering high-quality repairs and maintaining efficient production workflows. In this position, you will be responsible for the preparation of repair plans, ensuring that an extensive pre-repair process is completed on every vehicle to create a complete and accurate repair plan to eliminate multiple supplements. You will make decisions regarding sublet repair processing as needed and coordinate the timing of sublet work to keep overall cycle time as low as possible. Additionally, you will work closely with the Estimating staff to create the daily production plan, including the movement of vehicles between departments, and adjust the plan as needed throughout the day. You will also be responsible for the distribution of work assignments, using your knowledge of each staff member's skills, experience, and capabilities to appropriately assign vehicles to technicians. Daily meetings with each technician will be necessary to discuss work assignments and schedules. Monitoring work quality and providing day-to-day feedback and coaching to technicians will be part of your role, along with providing input for hiring needs and keeping the Collision Center Director apprised of performance levels and issues involving technicians. You will coordinate the maintenance of the shop equipment and maintain OEM Certified requirements for the manufacturer as needed.
