The role encompasses various kitchen responsibilities, including preparation of appetizers, salads, desserts, and raw bar items, while ensuring a professional and supportive work environment for staff development.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold appetizers, salads, and desserts.
• Shuck shellfish for the raw bar.
• Work as a line cook in grill, sauté, and expo stations.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen.
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in food preparation.
• Assist in all stations as a sous chef.

Requirements

• 2+ years of current skilled culinary experience in a restaurant.
• Ability to work clean and safely in the kitchen.
• Experience in specific cooking stations (grill, sauté, etc.).
• Organized, energetic, and hard-working attitude.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to train and mentor less experienced staff.
