About the position

The Assistant General Manager at Bojangles plays a crucial role in leading teams to deliver exceptional Southern Hospitality experiences to guests. This position involves collaborating with the General Manager to drive traffic, sales, and profitability while fostering a customer-centric culture within the restaurant.

Responsibilities

  • Create an inviting culture in the store where team members feel respected and valued.
  • Actively seek growth opportunities or assignments for team development.
  • Communicate effectively with all guests, both internal and external.
  • Take an active role in onboarding new team members.
  • Demonstrate cultural principles in every interaction.
  • Ensure adherence to all systems and processes, including BoFood and BoLabor.
  • Uphold standards and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Empower team members to maintain outstanding guest service.
  • Reduce repair and maintenance costs through proper management and timely escalation of issues.
  • Understand and manage the restaurant's P&L results.
  • Recognize how quality, service, and cleanliness impact sales.
  • Participate in inventory management and uphold safety and security standards.
  • Engage in all limited time offers (LTO) throughout their lifecycle.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years management experience.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
  • Available to work any shift, 7 days a week, with a required 50-hour work week.
  • Prior supervisory experience with a coaching mindset.
  • Experience in onboarding employees at all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in cash handling and bank deposits.
  • Ability to multi-task and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to bend, stand, kneel frequently, and lift 25+ lbs.
