About the position

The Assistant General Manager at Bojangles is responsible for leading teams to provide exceptional customer service and uphold the company's standards of Southern Hospitality. This role involves collaborating with the General Manager to drive traffic, sales, and profitability while fostering a positive work environment for team members.

Responsibilities

• Create an inviting culture in the store where team members feel respected and valued.
• Actively seek growth opportunities or assignments for team development.
• Communicate effectively with all guests, both internal and external.
• Take an active role in onboarding new team members.
• Demonstrate the company's Cultural Principles in every interaction.
• Ensure adherence to all systems and processes, including BoFood and BoLabor.
• Uphold standards and take corrective action when necessary.
• Empower team members to deliver outstanding guest service with every interaction.
• Reduce repair and maintenance costs through proper management and timely escalation of issues.
• Understand and manage the restaurant's P&L results.
• Recognize how quality, service, and cleanliness impact sales.
• Participate in inventory management and uphold safety and security standards.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years management experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Possess a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Available to work any shift, 7 days a week, with a required 50-hour work week.
• Prior supervisory experience with a coaching mindset.
• Experience in onboarding employees at all levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in cash handling and bank deposits.
• Ability to multi-task and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to bend, stand, kneel frequently, and lift 25+ lbs.
