About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our financial team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in various accounting software. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate journal entries and general ledger accounts.
• Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Manage payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks for efficient financial management.
• Stay updated on financial concepts and industry trends to provide informed recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts and accounting practices.
• Experience with journal entries, account analysis, payroll processing, and GAAP compliance.
• Excellent 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry and record keeping.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in work output.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
