About the position
Our Wealth Management client in Boston is seeking a Bookkeeper/Accounting Analyst who will report to the Controller. This hybrid role involves managing accounts payable and receivable functions, payroll processing, and maintaining customer and tenant databases, while providing comprehensive support to the accounting department.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank deposits
- Prepare reconciliations for credit cards and general ledger accounts
- Review monthly AR aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts
- Process client payrolls, review quarterly/annual filings, maintain payroll records
- Prepare documents for new members and invoice annual dues
- Prepare corporation MA annual report filings and consent actions
- Assist with state and federal filings and tax payments
- Assist with HR benefits open enrollment periods
- Update billing sheet for monthly and quarterly charges to tenants
- Generate spreadsheets to track gift income and projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a bookkeeper
- Knowledge and experience using QuickBooks and Bill
