About the position

The Bookkeeper-Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for accurately recording financial transactions and maintaining financial records. This role ensures the organization's financial integrity and contributes to its success by providing crucial data for informed decision-making. Reporting to the Comptroller, the position involves managing accounts receivable, preparing invoices, and supporting month-end closing activities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
• Manage accounts receivables and sales tax filings.
• Prepare and send out invoices to clients, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding payments.
• Maintain organized records of all transactions, communications, and documentation related to accounts receivable.
• Assist in governmental accounting processes as required by compliance standards.
• Support month-end closing activities by providing necessary reports and documentation, such as monthly analysis, budgeting, forecasting, KPIs, and various financial projects.
• Conduct reconciliations for cash/bank, prepaids, accruals, accounts payables, receivable, inventory, cost accounting, fixed assets, payroll, and revenue.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Navision Dynamics 2018.
• Advanced computer and Excel skills.
• Experience in account analysis and general ledger reconciliation is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Quick learner with a proactive attitude.
• Ability to work independently.
• Possess a positive 'can do' attitude.
