About the position

The Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant position is a part-time role focused on providing bookkeeping and administrative support to the firm. The ideal candidate will work 25-35 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours during tax season. This role is essential in delivering excellent service to clients and contributing to the firm's operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of bookkeeping functions
  • Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Answer phones and greet clients in a friendly manner
  • Schedule client meetings
  • Assist clients as they exit, ensuring all needs are met
  • Assemble Tax Returns
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in a customer service environment
  • Proficient with Quickbooks Software

  • Tax Prep/Services Experience
  • Experience running payroll
