About the position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper and Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive attitude in client interactions, possess a thorough understanding of accounting principles, and work independently to ensure accurate and timely financial results.

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping, including bank statement reconciliation and financial statement preparation.
• Manage payroll processing for clients, including tax payments and quarterly payroll tax return submissions.
• Perform data entry from source documents to generate financial statements.
• Prepare and organize documentation for income tax returns.
• Complete assigned client projects timely and accurately, meeting client expectations.

Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Strong grasp of accounting principles with the ability to apply them effectively to job duties.
• Proficient in data entry and bookkeeping practices.
• High level of professionalism and commitment to client and company confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the capability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail and precision in all tasks and communications.
• Ability to maintain composure and efficiency in a fast-paced work environment.
• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to changing business needs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks; QuickBooks certification is preferred.
