The Bookkeeper Assistant position at Pasona N A, Inc. is designed for a detail-oriented and proactive individual who will support the company's growth by managing various bookkeeping tasks. This role requires a Japanese bilingual candidate who can effectively communicate and collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment. The position is strictly in-office, emphasizing the need for on-site presence to handle financial transactions and support the accounting department.

Responsibilities

  • Process, prepare, and record invoices, vendor bills, and checks.
  • Process, prepare, and record utility invoices.
  • Support team members in maintaining accounts receivable and payable records.
  • Prepare and maintain records with invoice and payment details.
  • Calculate and input management and rental fees in management software.
  • Assist the accounting department in maintaining all financial transactions of business units.
  • Review closing documents for acquisitions and prepare wire payments.
  • Verify financial data for accuracy.
  • File documents and perform data entry.

Requirements

  • Prior bookkeeping knowledge required.
  • 1+ years of QuickBooks experience required.
  • 2+ years in an administrative role required.
  • Microsoft Excel and MS Office experience required.
  • 1+ years of accounts payable experience preferred.
  • Gmail knowledge preferred.
  • Works well in a team setting and inter-departmentally.
