About the position

SA Rainmaker LLC is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Construction Office Admin to manage financial records and support various office administration tasks. This role is essential for maintaining accuracy in financial operations and contributing to the overall efficiency of the company, which specializes in residential and commercial irrigation and landscaping services. The ideal candidate will thrive in a team-oriented environment and value customer service while ensuring high-quality work.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring all transactions are documented properly
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and prepare weekly cash flow projections
  • Review and verify financial statements for accuracy
  • Handle customer interactions and collections with professionalism
  • Assist the team with additional office tasks, including client communication, scheduling, inventory management, mail handling, and social media updates
  • Provide support with HR tasks as needed, such as assisting with employee onboarding, assessments, and training.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in accounting, finance, or a similar field
  • Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Detail-oriented and committed to meeting deadlines
  • Proficient in QuickBooks (Desktop and Online), Excel, Google Sheets, Microsoft Access, and software such as Zapier, Housecall Pro, and Airtable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a strong team player.

Nice-to-haves

  • HR experience or the ability to assist with HR tasks is a plus
  • Experience in a construction or service-based industry is desirable.
